The David H. Sutherland Company (DHSCO) was founded in 1951 as a one-man operation working out of a phone booth in the lobby of a hotel in downtown Portland, OR. At that time our founder, David Sutherland, was soley exporting North American products to Asia.
Over the last 59 years the world has changed significantly. DHSCO has grown to become a full service international trade organization taking up a 20,000 square foot office/warehouse as well as becoming certified to international quality standards ISO 9001:2008 & AS9120 Rev A. We are also fortunate to have a wide variety of both supplier & customer partnerships domestically & internationally.
